Cannot Place Calls

Problem:

Cannot place calls.

Solution:

  1. Make sure that the telephone power adapter is plugged in to a working outlet.
  2. Make sure the telephone line cord is plugged in firmly to a working telephone jack.
  3. Make sure that the dial mode is set to dial tone (refer to your telephone manual).
  4. For cordless phones:
    1. Make sure that the base antenna is fully upright.
    2. Move the handset closer to the base.
    3. Make sure that the handset is properly charged.
  5. Verify that your Home Phone Terminal is functioning properly by checking the LED patterns.
