Common Problems and Solutions
Problem:
Cannot place calls.
Solution:
- Make sure that the telephone power adapter is plugged in to a working outlet.
- Make sure the telephone line cord is plugged in firmly to a working telephone jack.
- Make sure that the dial mode is set to dial tone (refer to your telephone manual).
- For cordless phones:
- Make sure that the base antenna is fully upright.
- Move the handset closer to the base.
- Make sure that the handset is properly charged.
- Verify that your Home Phone Terminal is functioning properly by checking the LED patterns.
