How do I personalize Home & Away Voicemail?

Personalizing Home & Away Voicemail

To change the number of rings before calls are forwarded to your Voicemail:

  1. Pick up your receiver and dial * 9 4
  2. After the tone, enter the desired number of rings (from 2-9) before unanswered calls are directed to your Voicemail. You will hear two beeps to confirm you have successfully made the change.

To record a Personal Greeting:

  1. Pick up your telephone and dial * 9 8.
  2. If prompted, select the mailbox you want to access:
    • Press 0 for the main mailbox
    • Press 1 for sub mailbox 1
    • Press 2 for sub mailbox 2
    • Press 3 for sub mailbox 3
    • Press 4 for sub mailbox 4
  3. Enter your password.
  4. Press 4 3 1 2.
  5. After the beep, record your Personal Greeting. Press # when complete.
    • To accept and save the outgoing message, press 1
    • To re-record your outgoing message, press 2
    • To use a standard system greeting message, press 3

To change the recorded name on your Voicemail:

  1. Pick up your telephone and dial * 9 8.
  2. If prompted, select the mailbox you want to access:
    • Press 0 for the main mailbox
    • Press 1 for sub mailbox 1
    • Press 2 for sub mailbox 2
    • Press 3 for sub mailbox 3
    • Press 4 for sub mailbox 4
  3. Enter your password.
  4. Press 4 3 3 2.
  5. After the beep, record your name and press #.
  6. Press 1 to confirm your changes.

You can also use Online-Voicemail at www.rogers.com/vvm to manage your recordings. Click on the Voicemail Settings tab and select Greetings.

To compose a Voicemail message:

You can also use Online-Voicemail at www.rogers.com/vvm to manage your messages. Click on the Online-Voicemail tab and select Compose Message.

To change your Online-Voicemail email address:

Go to Online-Voicemail at www.rogers.com/vvm to change your e-mail address. Click on the Voicemail Settings tab and select Email Address.
