How do I access Home & Away Voicemail?

If there is at least one new voicemail in any of the mailboxes to be collected, you will be hear a "stuttering" dial tone when you pick up your telephone. Certain telephone will also have a message waiting light or display. Please consult your telephone owner's manual for further information.

To access your Voicemail:

  1. From home:
    1. Dial * 9 8.
    2. Enter your password.
    3. You are now in the voicemail main menu.

    Note: If you have multiple mailboxes activated, you will be prompted to choose which sub-mailbox you’d like to access prior to entering your password.

  2. Away from home (Long distance call):
    1. Dial 1.87-ROGERSVM (1-877-643-7786).
    2. When prompted, enter your 10-digit telephone number.
    3. Enter your password.
    4. You are now in the voicemail main menu. Enter 1 1 to listen to your new voicemail messages.

    Note: If you have multiple mailboxes activated, you will be prompted to choose which sub-mailbox you’d like to access prior to entering your password.

  3. Away from home (Local call):
    1. Dial your home telephone number. Your home phone will ring.
    2. Once you hear your personal greeting, press 9.
    3. Enter your password.
    4. You are now in the voicemail main menu.

    Note: If you have multiple mailboxes activated, you will be prompted to choose which sub-mailbox you’d like to access prior to entering your password.

  4. Online:
      • Login to www.rogers.com/vvm.
      • Enter your Home Phone Number and Password.
      • After pressing "Sign in", you are now in the Online-Voicemail inbox.
