High Definition Hookups

These hookup diagrams are for High-Definition televisions.

These diagrams use Component (also known as RGB or YPbPr) cables or an HDMI cable between your HDTV and HD Cable Box. Composite (RCA) cables will be required to connect other devices. Coaxial cable will be required to connect your Digital Cable Box to the cable wall socket.
